Cen-Alta Welding Supplies Ltd. was established in 1985 in Red Deer, Alberta as a full-service welding supply company. In September of 1985 we opened our second store in Calgary. In 1990 we started operating as Weldco, part of a group of distributors and buying group. From that time our company has grown along with the oil and gas industry in Alberta.

With 22 employees and a complement of delivery trucks and sales representatives, we offer a full line of welding gases and equipment and welding equipment and consumables under the major brand names of Miller, Esab, Thermal Dynamics, Lincoln Electric, Hobart Welders and Victor.

We serve the Alberta area from Wetaskiwin, in the heart of central Alberta, down to the U.S. border, and from east to west throughout Alberta, with a number of depot locations to serve the smaller communities in the area.
